Looking Good

Looking  like a winner is just as important as a winning CV.

A good CV can secure an interview but looking good and, importantly, feeling good is critical to the success of that interview.

First impressions are crucial.

As you walk through the door the interviewer is deciding if you fit into the team, before you’ve even answered a single question.

“You’ve got to speculate to accumulate.”

Invest in yourself and your appearance and it will pay dividends. Throwaway all that old, half used, out of date make up in the bottom of your bag along with that orange foundation.

Visit your local cosmetics department

You can book a free make up session and get professional advice on what colours suit you best and get them to match a foundation with your skin type and colour. They should give you a list of the products they’ve used, certainly any Bobbi Brown counter will.

Don’t feel obligated to buy a lot of expensive product if you’re not going to use it. They wont be offended if you walk away without a hundred items. They’re sales girls, it’s their job and they know that not everyone buys every time.

We have three fantastic make up videos in our Library to show you how easy it is to look your best.

 Support Yourself

If you’ve had children and unless you have an exercise regime like Madonna the chances are you need a little help in the tummy department. Marks and Spencer do a wonderful range of support lingerie which gives a lovely line under clothes and will give you a slimmer, more streamlined look whatever your size. No more bulging out over trouser tops.

New Bra, New You

Bra fitting by an in store expert is free. If you haven’t been fitted for a bra within the last six months, go. Go even if you think you are wearing the right size as all bra’s stretch in time. If you’ve gained weight or lost weight you will certainly need a visit.

It is absolutely essential for your own comfort and support that you are wearing the right bra size for you. Your clothes will look better on and your boobs will be in the right place without that double boob look at the front and the roll at the back.

If you are looking good and feeling fabulous underneath, you will feel more confident and acquit yourself better in an interview.
